Terracotta pots are traditionally used to keep water cool and also to grow plants. In This installation what we see as a prototype for future facades, we wanted it to perform cooling and also grow plants using capsule plants.
Hence the name CoolAnt ‘Binary’ for its dual purpose. We have observed that moss grows on these pots with prolonged exposure to moisture and water. Growing moss and bio-film helps in accentuating air quality in built spaces!
